3, 2, 1 … Countdown to Spring Break in Glenwood Springs

Spring break is quickly coming up on Colorado’s school calendars. After spending so much time in “at-home” classrooms, cut loose with a family vacation in Glenwood Springs. Hotel Colorado is offering three packages for an action-packed, family-friendly spring break getaway that bundle the best of Glenwood Springs—skiing at Sunlight Mountain, soaking and splashing at Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and a mountain of thrills at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park!

Ready, Set, Go…Choose Your Spring Break Package

  • Ski Swim Stay! Kids 12 and younger ski free with each paying adult staying at Hotel Colorado making Ski Swim Stay among the most popular family ski packages in Colorado. Keep every member of your crew engaged from the opening run to the last turn of the day on Sunlight’s 67 runs and 730 acres of terrain. Topography ranges from bunny slopes to experts only, with the bulk in-between and ideal for advanced beginners and intermediate skiers. In addition to lift tickets, this package also includes admission to Glenwood Hot Springs, home of the world’s largest hot springs pool. Located across the street from Hotel Colorado, this nearby attraction is perfect for a post-slope après ski activity. Use it to extend playtime with the kids in the bathwater warm main pool, as well as soak sore muscles in the hotter geothermal waters of the therapy pool.
  • Adventure Park. There is no place like Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. America’s only mountain-top theme park is right here in Glenwood Springs. For kids, the park means all-day, ear-to-ear smiles. Give your little adrenaline junkies something to scream about on thrill rides like the Alpine Coaster, Haunted Mine Drop and Giant Canyon Swing (weather dependent). Smaller children will get a kick out of rides that offer a gentler version of excitement. More options for quality family time include taking tours of the caves, playing laser tag and giggling together in the 4D theater. Along with lodging at Hotel Colorado, the Adventure Park package features a Funday Pass admission ticket which includes the Glenwood Gondola, unlimited turns on thrill rides and attractions, as well as two cave tours! Glenwood Caverns’ hours vary in March, so be sure to check their operating schedule before booking.
  • Splash & Crash. This package is as simple and satisfying as it sounds. Spend the entire day relaxing and recreating at the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. March in Colorado is often dotted with unseasonably warm days; get a jump on your tan by catching a few rays sunbathing on the pool deck. Because the hot springs pool is so enormous, kids (and adults) are welcome to tote along their toys. Play a game of catch with a Nerf-type sponge ball or bring floats for in-pool lounging. An air pump located near the therapy pool makes quick work of inflating water toys. When you’re all tuckered out, head back to Hotel Colorado for a restful night’s sleep.
