Who is Robert Burns?
- Robert Burns is Scotland’s national poet, known for works like “Auld Lang Syne” and “To a Mouse,” but the phrase “who is here” likely refers to the lyrics of the song “Here awa, there awa,” by Robert Burns. This phrase, which means “here away, there away,” is a key line in the song.
- A Scottish poet and lyricist, recognized for his poetry and songs about love and nature.
- He compiled and collected traditional Scottish folk songs, and his work is celebrated on “Burns Night” (January ) with special suppers.
