GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (July 10, 2025) — The Hotel Colorado is pleased to announce the return of Shari Woody as the new Director of Finance. Woody previously served as the Controller from 2009 to 2011 and brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the hotel’s operational dynamics.
“It’s great to have Shari back on board. Her skillset and experience here and over the years since then have made her the ideal fit for this position,” Larry MacDonald, Hotel Colorado general manager, said.
Woody has 30 years of experience in financial management within the hospitality and healthcare sectors. Along with general manager Larry MacDonald and assistant general manager Kaylyn Radden, Woody is part of the hotel’s executive team.
“My family and I have so much history in both the hotel and the area that I really feel like I’ve come home,” Shari Woody, Hotel Colorado director of finance, explained. “It’s wonderful to be back and work with the team that Larry’s built.”
Hotel Colorado is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is a member of Historic Hotels of America and has recently completed a $10 million comprehensive banquet and meeting space and guest room renovation.
