Polo Lounge at Hotel Colorado

The Polo Lounge named after our founder Walter Devereux’s love for the sport of Polo back in the late 1800’s to late 1900’s the Glenwood Valley was a Horse Polo rich location, with annual polo matches. Walter himself bred polo ponies right here in the valley. The hotel was a location for polo team owners and fans to relax and enjoy beverages of choice. 

The Polo Lounge is open daily 11:30 am to 10:00 pm – offering a food menu of local and regional cuisine, and extensive beer, wine and signature cocktails of history and current choices. If it’s not on the menu our trained mixologists are willing to apply their skills to a drink of choice within reason.  

We offer daily “Happy Hour” Daily from 4 pm to 6 pm – the summer months we offer cocktails on Hotel Colorado’s Veranda off the main Lobby, service begins each May through Mid-October.
