With over 20 years of hospitality sales experience, Lauren leads the group sales efforts for the historic Hotel Colorado. Since finding her stride in group sales in 2007, Lauren has dedicated her career to curating experiences that leave a lasting impression, whether for corporate retreats, conferences, or milestone celebrations. As a Certified Meeting Professional and seasoned sales leader, she is recognized for designing seamless, memorable events that not only highlight Colorado’s natural beauty but also reflect the timeless elegance and hospitality of Hotel Colorado.

Lauren’s background spans many of Colorado’s premier destinations, where she has held sales leadership roles in Telluride, Winter Park, Vail, and Keystone. Her extensive experience in these iconic mountain resorts has given her a deep understanding of how to deliver exceptional group events that balance professional precision with authentic Colorado character.

Beyond her hotel leadership, Lauren is an active industry advocate, serving on the Board and Executive Team of Destination Colorado and the Meetings Industry Council Board. She has also been a proud and engaged member of CSAE, SGMP, CMCA, MPI, and PCMA, continually contributing her expertise to advance the meetings and hospitality industry statewide.

A proud Colorado native, Lauren brings her lifelong love of the mountains into both her work and her daily life. Raised skiing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors, she infuses that same spirit of adventure and authenticity into the events she curates. Her deep connection to the Rocky Mountain lifestyle allows her to create experiences that feel both timeless and uniquely Colorado, blending the natural beauty of the destination with the historic charm of Hotel Colorado.

Recently certified as a wedding planner for the iconic Hotel Colorado, she brings a unique blend of local charm and professional finesse to the world of matrimonial magic.

With a rich background in organizing large-scale festivals, Alta navigates wedding planning with the precision of a seasoned orchestrator. Her experience has not only honed her organizational skills but has also given her a unique perspective on crafting seamless and memorable experiences.

What sets Alta apart is her extensive network of vendor connections, carefully nurtured over the years. From florists to photographers, she has a finger on the pulse of the local event industry, ensuring that each wedding she plans is extraordinary.

Sandy Ryan

Sandy Ryan

Sandy Ryan is the National Sales Manager at The Hotel Colorado. Sandy is a driven, versatile, and innovative sales and event management professional whose expertise drives revenue and creates a memorable guest experience. She brings over 20 years of combined experience in sales & catering, administrative support, and event management.  Before moving to Colorado, Sandy was a Senior National Sales Manager at the Tuscany Suites in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In her current role, Sandy is responsible for mainly the Corporate, Association, and Government market segments; for the front range. She also manages current client relationships and focuses on bringing new business to the hotel through a variety of channels such as phone calls, face-to-face meetings on and off-site, attending networking events, and site tours.

Kristen Haga

Kristen Haga

Kristen Haga (Keefer) originates from upstate New York but has called Glenwood Springs home since 2012. She has a dynamic and multifaceted background in hotel group sales, banquet events, and food & beverage service.  Having worked across various facets of events during her tenure, she is adept at approaching challenges from different perspectives and ensuring seamless & memorable experiences for guests.

With over a decade of dedicated service at Hotel Colorado, Kristen possesses deep knowledge of the property from all angles. Currently, Kristen takes care of all Group Sales within the territory of the Western United States as well as the Western Slope of Colorado.
