Jamie Klee Dooley is a singer/songwriter who began her professional career in the Los Angeles area where she played the club circuit including the iconic Palomino and Coconut Teaser. In the 1980’s she and her husband moved to Nashville Tennessee where she regularly performed at the Bluebird Cafe. In 1991 she signed a develop deal with RCA Records under the guidance of Josh Leo. In 1992 she was fortunate enough to receive a gold record for a song she wrote with fellow co-writer Mark Elliot called “Making Ends Meet” which was recorded by the late Chris LeDoux on his Watcha Gonna Do with a Cowboy album. She also received a gold record in 1996 with her co-owned publishing company for a top ten single performed by Sammy Kershaw called “Fit to Be Tied Down”.
